Christine Iliadis

Christine Iliadis

Christine Iliadis

I wrote “Paradox of Freedom” because I am a fond believer that everyone writes their own story. I am deeply inspired by any book or movie that creates human awareness and self-improvement. I am a principle-centered, problem solver intrigued by mystery of the unknown. That being said, I have always been intrigued by the two most complex topics in the world: grey brain matter and dark universe matter; both being an ominously divine language.
My theory is that grey matter is our subconscious mind which links with dark matter reaching the divine intervention only when we request it. The subconscious mind is the bridge between the mind, body and soul. If we can use this phenomenon to its full capacity, we can achieve all our desires to improve our circumstances along with optimum health and happiness. We can attain this by planting positive rewarding thoughts and actions into our subconscious mind which I show you in my book. We have the power to create the life that we want to live. Positive feeds off of positive which in turn can only bring about more of that optimism.
Come visit my booth!

Karen Blake-Hall

Karen Blake-Hall

Karen Blake-Hall

Karen has crafted exciting stories of adventure and dogs since she was old enough to hold a pencil, but no one could decipher her spelling. Later in life, when she learned how to spell, her stories were better appreciated.
Karen’s sharp-bladed fiction cuts to the heart of the emotions driving her characters in desperate situations.
When she’s not creating thrilling romantic suspense stories, she can be found plotting her next story while drinking tea with friends, crocheting or making jewellery.
Her husband, The Professor, claims to be the muse for all her stories, and her children, The First Born, His Lady, The Gamer and the Shooter are her biggest cheerleaders.
She is a member of Sisters in Crime International; Sisters in Crime Toronto; Crime Writers of Canada; Romance Writers of America, Toronto Romance Writers and WCDR.

Clair McIntyre

Clair McIntyre

Clair McIntyre

Clair McIntyre has long believed that when writing fiction, there is no such thing as impossible. Lover of all things sharks, monsters, paranormal and heroes of old, Clair incorporates them into her writing because as she puts it, “It’s easy to write about something you are excited about and seriously, I love it when a reader comes up and says just as excitedly, ‘I can’t believe you have a kraken and a megaladon shark in your story, they were awesome!'” Currently she is looking forward to her fans reaction to her newest immortal species, the Hellhounds, which can be found in her newest release, The Last Defender.

to vampire suck this marrow
in verse inhale be brave

always turn the page
i am asking you to
look at her me you him us
to feel your breath on
the breath of the wind
call it to you
to listen
so listen

I Am That Woman
"That Woman"

Shields’ first collection of poetry: passionate, personal and pretty darn hot! This collection dares to say the things that everyone thinks but never says about motherhood, sex, friendship and feminism.

Look At Her

Look at Her

A conscious response to her first book, I Am That Woman, Shields’ ‘Look At Her’ delves deeper and cuts open a hard-core, provocative, sensual feminist voice that needs to be heard.

Maighread MacKay

Maighread MacKay

Maighread MacKay

Ghosts, spirits and things that go bump in the night. Ancient mysteries and the riddles of our vast universe. Questions – lots of fascinating questions about the reality of our cosmos. Are there other dimensions or planes of existence? Are they inhabited? Do our parallel universes ever converge? Angels, Spirit Guides. Are they real? Can we communicate with them? What about other entities such as the Fae, Unicorns, or Dragons? Could they exist? What happens when we die? Has the soul that inhabits our body been here before? Why would we come back? What about animals? What happens to them when they die?

These questions have led me on a journey of investigating Christian Mysticism, Yogic Spirituality, Native Theology, Wicca, Celtic Shamanism, Quantum Physics, the Realm of the Fae and many other related topics.

Using my studies to draw on, I weave tales of Visionary Fiction for both children and adults. Whether nine or ninety, I hope readers will join me in exploring alternate paradigms about life and the after-life experience.
